Star Wars: Battlefront 2 makes way for the new Battlefield that will appear in 2021

DICE has announced that Battle of Scarif will be the last update for Star Wars: Battlefront 2, as the studio will focus on a new game. EA later confirmed that DICE will release a new Battlefield title in 2021. Also, Battlefield 5 will not receive major updates after June.

The DICE team is working on a standalone update for Battlefield 5 that will be released this summer. He also works at Community Games. Even if the studio’s vision for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 is complete with the release of Battle of Scarif, don’t worry. Servers, in-game challenges, scheduled events, and game support will continue to function normally. We want to please our players for many years. In the long run, the studio is focusing on the next Battlefield game to be released in 2021.

Dennis Brannvall, Creative Director, DICE

At this point, it’s unclear whether Battlefield 5 or Battlefront 2 will join the other EA games released by EA. One thing is for sure though; this information confirms some older rumors that talked about a new BF through 2021-2022.

What’s new in the Battle of Scarif update?

The Battle of Scarif update will add a new tropical location from Rogue One in several game modes. In addition, he will add skins for characters based on The Rise of Skywalker: Rey with a yellow sword, Kylo Ren with his new mask and a new version of Emperor Palpatine. If you make 5,000 kills with Darth Maul, you will complete his Old Master skin (including mechanical legs). Also, if you “discover the secret on Takodana” you will receive Rey’s hooded skin.

Offline solo players will have access to the game’s co-op modes, along with AI bots. They will have access to all locations, and the option can be found in the Instant Action menu. To see all the news introduced by the new update, visit the official page.

Google Stadia receives 11 new games

Google hosted a Livestream Stadia Connect in which it revealed which are the next games available on the platform. New games on Google Stage include PUBG, a trio of EA games and a few more titles from other developers. The most interesting part is that the service seems to work in Romania as well, even if Google has not confirmed this.

New games available on Google Stadia

PUBG is already available on Google Stadia via Stadia Connect. Players can choose between the base version which costs $ 29.99 or the Pioneer Edition which costs $ 39.99. The latter contains the game, along with Survivor Pass: Cold Front and a set of exclusive Stadia skins. Pro subscribers will not have to pay anything for PUBG Pioneer Edition.

Google has also announced a trio of games published by EA, which will also appear on Stadia later this year. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is the first of these and will be released on the platform in the fall, with the next Madden and FIFA titles to be released in the winter.

But I find more interesting the other titles available:

Crayta – The game will be launched for the first time on Google Stadia and will be free for Pro subscribers in the summer. A game for all ages that allows you to create other multiplayer games that you can play with your friends.

Get Packed – A co-op game for 1-4 players in which you have to help Ditchlington move its riches. A kind of Overcooked Fan Courier 😀 The game is already available at this time.

Wave Break – An arcade game with skateboating that has an air inspired by Miami Vice from the ’80s.

Embr – Embr is a game with a less common theme. Players will join a team of elite firefighters and help them put out fires and save lives. It is available as Early Access starting May 21 on Google Stadia and on PC.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War – Free with Stadia Pro starting May 1, the game is already a popular Rebellion title and aims to match zombies in co-op.

Octopath Traveler – Another already known game; a turn-based JRPG developed by Acquire that is already available on Stage.

Rock of Ages 3 – This game will be available in June. It is a tower defense in which you are, well, a boulder and you have to go through enemies.

The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima release dates

The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima: confirmed release dates for PS4

In case you were a fan of The Last Of Us, you should know that the second part already has a confirmed release date. So is Ghost of Tsushima. Obviously, both on the PlayStation 4.

Ghost of Tsushima will be released on July 17, 2020, but most importantly, The Last of Us Part 2 is coming soon, on June 19. Both games have a dedicated page on PlayStation: The Last of Us 2 | Ghost of Tsushima.

Alien Isolation is now extremely cheap

Last week saw Alien Day, a meaningless holiday. But attached to that meaningless celebration was a very big discount, and still valid, for Alien Isolation.

Until tonight, you can get your hands on Alien Isolation for only 1.85 euros. If you have never had the opportunity to button it up, then you will have a great horror experience.

Alien Isolation is a game in which you will control Ellen Ripley’s daughter, who is looking for answers. But these answers come attached to the fangs and claws of a xenomorph that you will have to avoid. An enemy controlled by an AI who tries hard to look for you, to smell you, to feel you and to make you porridge. It guarantees you some wonderful terrifying sensations.

Then you can find the AvP game from 10 years ago at a reduced price. It’s not as good as Alien Isolation. It’s not as bad as the Aliens Colonial Marines. And that game is cheap, but I don’t recommend you play it.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be a game recommended for people over 18 years old

Cyberpunk 2077 is the name on the lips of many gamers when it comes to 2020 games. It seems that the new title of CD Projekt Red will be an 18+ game. This rating was recently received in Brazil, but we should not be surprised. The attached documents are in Portuguese, but a Twitter user translated them into our everyday English. Further, Pawel Sasko, Lead Quest Designer within the project posted further, along with an ironic comment.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be presented at IGN Summer of Gaming

Just yesterday I received the confirmation that Cyberpunk 2077 will be part of the digital show IGN Summer of Gaming. Without E3 this year, the digital event will be a good opportunity to see a new trailer and maybe a few gameplay sequences.

The game will be released on the current generation of consoles and on PC, and it will receive a free upgrade on Xbox Series X once the new console is released. It is not yet certain if the same is true for PlayStation 5. I also received a statement based on this topic:

When it comes to the Microsoft console, as I said, we have officially confirmed both the update and the cross-genre availability, which means that you will be able to enjoy the game from the very beginning on the next genre. We don’t have any confirmation from PlayStation, so we can’t say yes or no. This issue is in the hands of PlayStation, after which we will be happy to make an announcement, but at this time we can not get over them.

Michal Nowakowski, SVPof Business Development, CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on September 17, 2020, after the initial release was postponed.

The Last of Us 2 will arrive in the summer

Here is good news for those who dream of a post-apocalyptic future where no one asks you to declare your own responsibility when you leave the house. The Last of Us 2 no longer has such an indefinite release date. This was really very definite.

Sony announces that the game will be available on June 19 for Playstation 4 and Playstation 4 Pro and probably at some point in the future, I think in a potentially more handsome form, for Playstation 5.

Also, several videos appeared on the internet at the same time, revealing many details about the game’s story. If you’re curious, you’ll probably be able to find them where they were re-uploaded, because from the time I started writing this article until it was published, the original ones have disappeared.

Also on this occasion, the release date for Ghosts of Tsushima was announced, July 17.
